Palettes and Tool Sets
The standard workspace contains various palettes for creating and editing objects in VectorWorks Fundamentals. Basic and Tool Sets are tool palettes, which have special functionality, as described in Tool Palette Features. If a keyboard shortcut is currently assigned to a menu command or tool, the shortcut displays when the mouse hovers over the command or tool; to set up or modify keyboard shortcuts, see Modifying Menus and Commands.
Depending on the initial settings, some palettes may be hidden when VectorWorks Fundamentals is launched.
